There is no right, wrong or typical way of coping with the shattering experience of losing a loved one. As we long for what we have lost, at times our lives can seem quite meaningless. Gradually, however, and in our own time, we can learn a new way of living, in which there is sadness but where there can be joy and happiness too.

We are a diverse group of volunteers, but we can all share what it feels like to experience bereavement, and the stresses surrounding terminal illness. We don't have all the answers but we do listen. We understand that, sometimes, family and friends are just not enough. Importantly, we appreciate the real value of you talking about your loss and the ways in which it is affecting your life.
We can arrange for you to meet a volunteer, or to speak by phone to someone who will support you through these difficult times.
